To fit our DIY kitchens requires a small amount of DIY experience and a power drill and a screwdriver. It is not difficult to fit the doors and drawers that make up the DIY kitchens but some people may decide to sit back and let DIY Flatpac Kitchens fit their DIY kitchens as our fitters are highly experienced in fitting our DIY kitchens.

A kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the home and therefore should be designed so that it is a place that is functional,  appealing and a pleasure to move arond in. It is for these reasons that the layout  is exactly  as you want it.

A main part of that design is in the selection of the types and styles of the cabinets and cupboards to suit the storage needs required in a kitchen while being ergonomically sound. Storage items such as utensils, cooking pots and pans, some house cleaning materials, linen and most importantly safe and convenient food storage must be considered.

There is a great range of cabinets and cupboards available to select from that will provide exactly what you the customer wants. To start with a range of base units are available to include drawer packs in a range of sizes that can be individually designed to store anything a customer wants from cutlery, pots and pans etc. Base cupboards also  are designed to incorporate the sink and drainer unit, dish washer and under bench oven and cook top of any size and style that suits the customer. Base corner units either square or diagonal in design are a useful item to design into a kitchen as they provide convenient storage space that can be accessorised with rotary shelving racks. All of these base cabinet carcases are  are available in DIY packs or can be assembled at the factory ready to be installed and all finished off with a magnificant range of door styles, including Solid Timber doors and benchtops of the customers choosing.

Over head cabinets and cupboards are also important in providing storage facilities for crockery and display items and other equipment to enhance a kitchen. Over head cupboards are also corner styles either square or diagonal types similar to the Base cabinets. Overhead cupboards also incorporate accessories such as Range Hoods  and Microwave  Ovens. These cabinet carcases can be in DIY packs or assembled in our factory ready to be installed. The door range is extensive and features glass panels, leadlight styles, solid timber and vinyl doors in a vast range of styles and colours.

Convenient food storage is also important when designing a kitchen and Pantry units are  available and come in various types such as Walk in units which can be corner styles or normal square units that can be placed conveniently to suit the kitchen design. Height extensions for the corner  or square pantry styles can be incorporated if additional storage space is needed. These units can be supplied as DIY flat packs or factory  assembled.
