DIY FLAT PAC KITCHENS

Submit a floor plan to info@fpk.com.au with measurements to our DIY flat pack kitchen designers.  You can fax, email or drop your plan in to our showroom.  The drawing doesn’t have to be perfect or to scale, just a rough sketch with measurements will be enough to get us started.  Provide as much information as you can about your dream kitchen, or leave it to our capable designers to inspire you.  The location of plumbing, doorways, windows and information about your appliances will help us to give you the best possible design for the space.  Click to see an example of a floor plan.

Once you have submitted your floor plan our designers will send you a quote along with 3D rendered pictures to help you visualise your new DIY flat pack kitchen.  Our custom sized cabinets give us a lot of freedom to design something that fits your room precisely.  Our staff are experienced designers and will produce a functional and visually pleasing design to suit the space and your individual needs.

Different materials influence the cost of  kitchens significantly.  A kitchen in melamine finishes will be friendlier to the budget than a high gloss 2 pack paint or solid timber kitchen.  We offer products to suit any budget.  If you would like to know the price difference between products our designers are happy to help.  Just ask our friendly staff.

To finalise the quote you will need to confirm the design and decide on colours and finishes for doors and bench tops.  Selections will need to be made for handles and hardware.  We will also need confirmation of all the appliances you intend to use.  We stock a range of competitively priced appliances and appliance packages you can also choose from.

Once you are happy with your design and selections we like to come and do a check measure to ensure everything will fit as intended.  Your kitchen is a very important part of the house and it can be inconvenient if the kitchen is not functional for any longer than necessary.  It is in our interest as much as yours that everything goes according to plan.  There is no charge for the check measure, however this service is only available in metropolitan Adelaide.  If you live outside of Adelaide our staff will help guide you over the phone or through email to give us the critical measurements required.  After the measure has been done we request a deposit to get the job underway.  Because we custom build we have a manufacturing lead time of around four weeks.

Once your DIY flat pack kitchen is ready, it is time to install.  We encourage our clients to give it a go however, if you don’t have the time or help to install your kitchen, let us do the work and install your new kitchen for you.   We supply full instructions as well as phone support and perhaps the best after sales service in the industry.  We won’t rest until your job is complete to your satisfaction.
